Old Soul is a rock ‘n roll band out of New York City made up of three songwriters - Lincoln, Jackson and Satchel. The rhythm section is Tbone on drums and Freddy on steel drum, giving the roots rock songwriting a fresh sound. Formed on Bleecker Street in 2008 where this group of friends got into jams that could last 6 hours long, they developed an explosive live show and a distinct sound that is both new and familiar. Old Soul had their first headlining CMJ showcase in 2009, followed by SXSW in 2010 and a successful Northeast tour. In 2011, drummer Tbone was hired back to Public Enemy and Lincoln, Jackson and Satchel started arranging their debut record set to be released in the fall of 2012. While Tbone splits his time between Public Enemy and Old Soul this summer, the band will be performing select dates in the Northeast.
